I spent most of Friday morning at school recording the children for June's Kids Clues. I arrived at St Martha's a little early however and the headmaster invited me into their assembly.
It was a wonderful experience to share the children's celebratory assembly which acknowledged their achievements from the week gone by. Even more special was the performance at the end for the twins who were leaving for India that day.
You can share that moment in song below.
Well done guys!

Last night Tim, Adam, I and most of the amazing team as you probably know by now spent the evening at the 31st Sony Radio Academy Awards at London's Grovesner House on Park Lane. We were nominated in the UK Radio Station of the Year category (under 300,000) for the second year running, AND WE WON, AGAIN!
It truly is a privalge to work a with such a great team at such a great station, I'm so lucky to do what I do and I can honestly say everyday of my 15 years at KL.FM has been different, apart from last night and the previous year obviously when we won the Gold. :-)
If you don't know the Sony Radio Awards are the radio industry equivalent of winning an Oscar in the movie world. They are also a very star studded event with celebs and other radio professionals everywhere you look. I met some real legends, some old radio friends and people I've grown up listening and watching on TV & Radio. It was quite surreal entering the ballroom with Jarvis Cocker who to be fair should've ironed his clothes before leaving the house, everyone else though looked great. Love ya Jarvis :-)
Aside from the awards themselves we were entertained by an array of stars including Blue, Jamie Cullum, The Saturdays and Robbie Williams who despite the flu the put on an amazing performance.
Fancy seeing some of it? It's below...

KL.FM is on BBC Two tonight at 8pm, their cameras came to KL.FM last year to film a follow up to their first visit when we made a commercial for Denver Windmill. Read the blogs below to see why they came in the first place.
FROM THE ARCHIVE
Lights, Camera, Action! I took a trip to Denver Mills Farmers Market to catch up Alix Pollizi (Hotel Inspector) who has been following the family who run the mills and the activities that take place every day. It was a very cold evening to the say the least but the atmosphere was great, the food was amazing and the mulled wine even better.
In December 2011 I took a trip to Denver Mills Farmers Market to catch up Alix Pollizi (Hotel Inspector). She was following the family who run the mills and watching over the activities that take place every day. The family were the focus of a BBC2 programme which featured KLFM earlier this year.
Today the BBC 2 TV cameras came back to KL.FM as part of a follow up programme which will be shown on the tele in 2013 to promote their next venture to secure the windmill.
