Mystery Vocie Winner

28th October 2014

SIMON: We've had a winner on the Mystery Voice!  Congratulations to Kayleigh Grief from King's Lynn who won herself and her twin sister £720 for knowing it was Freddie Prinze, Jr.

Freddie is most famous for his role as Fred in Scooby-Doo and was also in I Know What You Did Last Summer.

Listen to the moment we gave away the money here!

Dancing baby loves Ed Sheeran

28th October 2014

When my twins were little one trick to get them to sleep was to drive to Fakenham and back listening to Katie Melua, the soothing sounds of her voice and the motion of the car always did the trick, but you do need to be careful with your choice of music......

This is a lovely video of little girl who was fast asleep until her favourite song came on the radio!

Brilliant!

Alvin Stardust dies aged 72

23rd October 2014

Today on KLFM's Oldies Hour we paid just a small tribute to Alvin Stardust who passed away earlier today.  He was best known for his 1970s hit My Coo Ca Choo and a string of successful musicals.

He came to KL.FM a few years back and made an impression on the girls here due to his steely blue eyes and charm.  He was a complete gentleman, chatted for hours, played the guitar and just generally laughed with us all afternoon.

But do you remember him helping you cross the road?

RIP Alvin Stardust

An amazing moment

21st October 2014

Below is a video that may bring a tear to your eye, it's an amazing moment in someone's life!

Website REDDIT asked people with hearing problems for the sounds they've never heard but are curious about; some of which included, a strangers mobile phone ringing, the wind blowing and birds singing.

If you lost your hearing what would you miss? Post a reply here if you wish.

The video below shows a young lady called Amy who has been deaf since she was born. She has never heard the sound of her parent’s voice or her 6 year old son. Until now!

Car parking!

20th October 2014

When someone's watching it's always harder to park your car, but I don't think this person knew she was being filmed!

A sharp exit

16th October 2014

Have you ever made a sharp exit from somewhere? Has something wound you up so much you just had to leave or perhaps you’ve embarrassed yourself so much you really felt heading for the exit was the best option? Poor old Michael McIntyre has done just that this week at one of his gigs after a very rude member of the audience persisted in using her mobile during his performance. Michael refused to return to the stage for 15 minutes until she stopped texting her friends.

Good Morning Britain’s Richard Arnold also left the set of the live TV show this week after a rather unfortunate occurrence left him red faced in front of millions...
