Rugby? Help!

30th August 2012

Tomorrow I'm presenting the Soundtrack to your Workday between 10 and 2 instead of Home-Time as Adam Newstead and I are heading to London for a weekend away.  Not together as such but with the CEO of the company that owns KL.FM and a few other members of staff from other radio stations across the country who have also been chosen for their hard work and contribution.

As you may of heard or even seen KL.FM is part of UKRD, The number 1 Sunday Times Best Company to work for in 2012.  Aside from day to day life at KLFM which I love, it's also occasions like this that make our company stand out from any other I've ever worked for.  The whole weekend is paid for, travel, accommodation at a top swanky hotel, food, drinks and even the mini bar in my room.

However the reason we are in London is to spend the day in an executive box watching the opening two Rugby matches of the season at Twickenham, again it’s all paid for and very plush.  I'm very excited but what I know about Rugby you could write on the back of postage stamp. I love sport but have never really watched a lot of Rugby due to fact I was rubbish at it at school and always got hurt being the little lad.

Here is where you come in; please help me understand the rules; send me some history on the London teams, who are playing, anything so I'm clued up for the day!  You can post a reply here or Tweet me via @simonrowe.
