Vancouver Quarter Poppy Wall

22nd July 2014

TVancouver Poppyoday I visited the Vancouver Quarter along with the Mayor of King's Lynn & West Norfolk Barry Ayres to see the 10ft long ‘Poppy Wall’ which by August 4th will hopefully be filled with 10,000 poppies.   This is to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World War and to remember those who fought for their country and lost their lives.

You’ll find the ‘Poppy Wall’ opposite Wilkinson’s and just up from Costa Coffee and its open for you to pay your respect and add a poppy during normal shop hours.
