CHARITY OF THE YEAR
Over the years KL.FM 96.7 has helped many charities and thanks to your generosity raised tens of thousands of pounds.
This year we'd like to continue in that vain but focus on just one charity to be KL.FM's Charity of the Year, supported by Leziate Park Country Club.
We'll attend their events, promote all of their fund raising, promote their cause and help in any way we can.
We've short listed 10 charities and you can vote for which one we support over the next 12 months. Below you'll find some brief information on all the short listed charities in order for you to choose your favourite...

East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH)
EACH cares for local children with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition and supports their family. The children may only have a very short time to live, others may reach young adulthood, but EACH's aim is always the same - to enhance their quality of life and support their family.

East Anglian Air Ambulance Since its foundation in 2000, the charity has expanded to provide a 365 day-a-year service covering Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and Bedfordshire - that's a massive 11% of the total area of England. Friends in Bereavement Friends in Bereavement is run by trained volunteers operating in West Norfolk. The object of the Charity is to alleviate the suffering & distress of people who have lost a loved one through death, and to promote both mental & physical good health. |

Mr Bees - Family Centre The Family Support Centre, (known as Mr Bee’s - Family Centre) was created to serve the needs of families, disadvantaged families and lone parent families and individuals in the West Norfolk Area. Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House The Norfolk Hospice at Tapping House is not just a building - it is the hub of a real and immediate service for patients in their own home or at the Hospice - and offers a range of holistic care and therapies to people with cancer and with life-limiting illnesses. Out & About Out & About enables disabled children and young people to become fully included in their choice of leisure activity across Suffolk and Norfolk. PACT
PACT rescues, rehabilitates, and where possible re-homes, neglected, injured and abandoned animals. Their specialty is 'problem' animals - victims of physical or mental abuse - they coax them back to health, overcoming their behavioural distress, and restoring their dignity

Rebecca's Wishes Rebecca's Wishes was set by family and friends of Rebecca Fairhead who died of a brain tumour when she was just 12. St Raphael Club
The St Raphael Club is a social club for disabled adults and is held every Tuesday evening and also on Friday's for a social day. Their main aim is to create a place where disabled adults can come and talk, maybe write a letter, make new friends and socialise. |
