Our pet parrot, Pippin, has gone missing. He's quite small, and blue/green colour. If anyone sees him, or heard of someone who saw a tame parrot, please contact me on 01953 452487. He will not be able to survive in the wild, and could die within days. PLEASE HELP!!!

Last seen in Lady Jane Gray Road close to Alice Fisher Crescent, lives at Hope Court (off Reid Way) Think she was lost as she followed me part of way to bus stop, then I didn't see her. Recycle at RSPCA East Winch Wildlife Centre to help British wildlife. The RSPCA at East Winch Wildlife Centre is urgently in need of your help. They urgently need face cloths to keep baby hedgehogs warm. Also require towels to keep the 12 orphaned seal pups warm all of which have been admitted in the last week. Duvets and blankets also required as these are used for soft bedding for injured animals. Newspapers are also used for bedding and any surplus is recycled raising funds for the Centre. At present East Winch Wildlife Centre is busy caring for 577 animals. There are yellow bins placed around the centre for you to leave your towels, newspapers etc. in. Thank you - we appreciate your help.

On Sept 4/5th we are planning a national bergen relay going anti-clockwise around England Scotland and Wales, Carried by the motorcycle community of the UK Starting in Kings Lynn Norfolk Arena.
We are raising money for AFGHAN HEROES a registered charity.....www.afghanheroes.org.uk who support British Forces in Afghanistan.
We have a Burgen (Andy's son's) that has seen service in both Afghanistan and Iraq, this is what we will be relayed around the UK.
We will be putting pledges from people and riders inside.
A bergen is what the army call their rucksacks, they are carried by the lads full of their equipment sometimes weighing 70Lbs or more.
The bikers will relay the bergen around the country to predefined locations to swap to the next rider and this will be followed online as we have been donated a Tracker
So far we have a fantastic following and are gaining support daily.

We are a support group for parents of children who are disabled or have special needs.We encompass quite of a range of different disabilities Cerebal paulsey , ADHD , Autism and a lot more . we are the group that you can come to once a month maybe you have had a really bad week or month and need a damn good cry ( we have all been there) or maybe you are coming along to one of our meetings to hear the speaker that month.We meet at Meadowgate School in Wisbech during term time, whatever you need we are there for you . We also have a sister group The Wisbech ADHD group and they meet every friday at the oasis centre in Wisbech this is more of a family orientated group it runs all year including school holidays although it is called ADHD group it also encompasses a wide range of disabilities / special needs as there was a call for a weekly meeting During the holidays we have fun stuff like art and craft for the children to do. Even if you only want a free cup of coffee and a natter away from your special needs child we can do that too.Our members range from all over fenland p'boro, murrow, wisbech, march too many to mention them all.

The British Hen Welfare Trust has a rehoming day on the 18th July.
If you would like to give a home to our girls who are otherwise destined for other things please get in touch,we have collection points across the u.k and there are over 150 of us volunteers,so far the charity has rehomed over 200,000 caged hens,we want to help more. We are looking to rehome 300 from the North Norfolk area ON THE 18TH July
The B.H.W.T has patrons of Jamie Oliver, Anthony Worrall Thompson,Jimmy Doherty and Harbour@Jones,
and finally these hens make wonderful pets,they are cheeky,endearing,and utterly addictive!you will also get an egg or two.

Embrace – Supporting Young Parents have come to Kings Lynn and are set up ready to support teenage parents with some of the issues they may be facing. Embrace has been supporting young parents in Norwich for 7 years and has secured funding to offer the same valuable service in West Norfolk. We can help with:
• One to one support
• Accessing other agencies
• Benefits information
• Positive parenting
• Housing issues
• Advice on education, employment, training and childcare
We can work with you if you are 19 or under and are pregnant or already have a child. We will visit you in your own home or in a place that you choose and support you with any of the things that you feel that you may need help with. The young parents that we support in Norwich have found getting support from an Embrace project worker extremely positive,
‘The workers respect the fact that I am a mum, no matter how old I am.’
‘My Embrace worker helped me with my housing application – I wouldn’t have known who I could apply to if she hadn’t helped me with this.’
‘My Embrace worker has helped me a lot, especially getting into college and nursery for my daughter, as I wouldn’t have been able to do it on my own and wouldn’t know where to start.’
We are covering all of the Kings Lynn area, Terrington cluster area and the Hunstanton cluster area.
You can make a referral to us yourself by either downloading a referral form from our website, (www.embrace-supportingyoungparents.org.uk) filling it in and sending it to us or by ringing us on 01553 773565 (Ext. 109). Your health visitor/ midwife /Connexions worker will be able to help you with the form.
