New Appeal Launched by Una Crown Murder Detectives

16 months after Una Crown was found murdered in her Wisbech home police are now relaunching their appeal to find her killer.

The 86 year old was found dead in her home on Magazine Lane. She'd been stabbed and her body was then set on fire in an apparent attempt to disguise her injuries and destroy evidence.

A new team of detectives from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit is re-launching the investigation.

Detective inspector Sharn Basra says there investigation so far hasnt been without success

"The investigation team has done some really good work. This reinvestigation, this review of what they've found will hopefully build on the successes they've already had with a view to bringing those responsible to justice."

A £10,000 reward is on offer to help catch the people responsible
