Wisbech Needs More NHS Services

The MP for Wisbech is lobbying the NHS to invest in more services for the town, claiming it would save money, as well as giving a better service.
Stephen Barclay says his constituents are stuck with having to travel to Cambridge, Peterborough or King's Lynn. That puts a strain on everyone, when technology could mean many more treatments could be carried out by GPs or at the local smaller Hospital.
“There’s a great cost to constituents in having to travel when actually, we have the facilities, we have the space. If you look at North Cambs Hospital it’s got lots of space available where we can deliver services in a cost effective way.”
