Breckland Masterplan Consultation Launches

Swaffham

7:43am 17th November 2014

What will Swaffham and Dereham look like in 22 years? If you live in a village there, where will your kids live when they grow up?

Breckland Council are asking the big questions this morning as they launch a big consultation on the future of the area.

They'll use it to form a master plan, deciding how much growth should happen in each place, and where.

Cllr Mark Kiddle-Morris, Breckland Council Executive Member for Assets and Strategic Development said:

“The Local Plan will be a key strategic planning document that will shape the future growth of the district and set out the policies used to determine planning applications, so I would urge everyone to take part in the consultation and make their views known. The online consultation sets out the issues and options in detail, and we have also organised open events where people will have the opportunity to talk to officers and ask questions”

You can take part at a series of local events or you can do it online by clicking here:
