The elderly man was told he owed money to a London solicitors firm.

The 60 year old sought advice over the £1,800 claim, from an Indian sounding man over the phone.

Luckily he was warned of the con and did not pay them.

Police are reminding people not to be decieved as trusted firms do not collect debt in such a way.
