your-waste

By now you may already have an addition to your bin family, the Borough Council of King's Lynn & West Norfolk are currently introducing new 'Food Waste' bins to households in our area. Starting April 2nd your bin collections will change ever so slightly, meaning that your black bin (which is going to be replaced by a larger black bin) will be collected on alternate weeks to your green recycling bin, so black bin one week, then green bin the next week. The new grey bin, with the food waste in , will be collected EVERY week.

To understand how it all works and to see the benefits, my family and I were lucky enough to be chosen as the first in the area to give it a go, you can watch our blogs below to see how we get on.
