Until about 6 months ago you may know I lived in South Wootton and from my house you could see the children’s play park, this was lovely not only because it was kept really tidy and looked great but also because my children could play there and I could keep an eye on them whole time. What I especially loved about the 'green' was that children of all ages mixed together, at the time Jake and Holly were around 8/9 years old, the lad in the video you are about to watch was a teenager.
Simon Berry is now 19 and since he was 13 I've seen him perform his tricks in that park and have always been amazed, so I was pleasantly surprised to receive his email telling me that he is currently the reigning British Flatland Unicycle champion!
This summer he's setting off to Montreal, Canada to compete in the world championships. You can learn more about his demontrations here
I thought he deserved the chance for as many people to see his talent as possible and who knows a chance to get some sponsorship too?
See him in action below, it’s amazing!

As a presenter at KL.FM I've been invited to many events, openings and special occasions over the past 15 years, I've met some amazing, interesting and important people but until last Friday (despite being made to dress as a woman for my show recently) I'd never been invited to the Woman's Institute.
The lovely ladies who meet once a month on a Friday at Terrington St Clement Village Hall asked if I could come and speak to them about my role at KL.FM and hopefully entertain them and straight away I thought this would be a really nice thing to do, I've done hundreds of talks and am defiantly no stranger to standing up and talking in front of an audience.
When I arrived at the event the WI meeting had just begun and as I looked around the village hall I was surprised to such a wide variety of ages, I was even more surprised to spot my wife’s Grand Mother in the audience! Apparently she was chairman about 10 years ago and came back especially to hear me talk. Whilst I was waiting to begin one thing that did grab me was the effort and passion the WI put into their evening, everything was well organised, there were some fun competitions and most importantly plenty of food just waiting to be eaten, I'm pretty sure had I been listening to me talk I'd of waned me to shut up pretty quick so that I could start munching away on the wonderful dishes made by just about every member of the group that attended.
I think my talk went well, I got a few laughs and no one fell asleep during my life story which was surely a good thing?!
Thanks for having me girls. x

Today on the show and across the day we have been celebrating Robbies 40th Birthday by playing his songs every hour.
I was lucky enough to see Robbie live at the Sony Awards in a real up close and raw performance intended just for radio types. He was so funny on stage and really worked the audience with his charm.
The video below is just one of the songs he performed on the night. This has had over 6,000 views so why not take a look for yourself.

How this for a randomness? Last week my Dad called me out of the blue to ask if I could get a showbiz legend to write to a friend of his whom recently suffered a stroke. This lady who is now in hospital can’t speak or make herself known; however the one thing that is clear is her love for crooner Des O’connor whose picture she continually points at beside her bed. Dad wondered if somehow I could get him to make contact and unbelievably with just a couple of phone calls I found myself talking to his personal assistant and the man himself putting pen to paper for my Dad’s friend. For this lady the surprise will be something out of this world and will hopefully put a big smile on her face whist aiding in some way to help her recover. It’s great to of been able to this for her but also to be able to do it for my Dad who is now able to give the news to her family who I know will be so pleased.

My daughter much like just about every young girl in the world is a MASSIVE fan of One Direction; posters, pictures, pencil cases, calanders, annuals, even her toothpaste, everything is 1D!
If you like my daughter love Nial, Zane, Harry, Liam and the other one this is how they sound to your poor parents, please bear this in mind next time you play them in your room.

I've said it before and I'll say it again every day is different working at KLFM. I've been here for 15 years and done so much stuff, most of which I'm happy to talk about or remember, but today is just a little bit different thanks to that man Adam Newstead.
Yes ha ha ha ha he sent a tweet yesterday suggesting I'd do the show in drag if the tweet received over 100 re-tweets. It did and on my desk today I found a dress, high heels, lipstick, eyelashes, you name it, how was I gonna get out of this?
I'm game for a laugh I like to think I'm a good sport, you can see the results below but trust me once you've seen it you can't un see it.
Watch at your own peril!
As for Mr Newstead and the hundred and six people that retweeted, watch out I'm gonna get ya!

When I used to work as a postman the one question absolutely everyone asked was "have you ever been bitten by a dog?", well actually yes and there was a lot of blood, I even knocked on the door of someone who's mail was addressed to Dr Johnson in the hope he could help!
