KES King's Lynn - Teaching staff

29th June 2018

KES Staff - Languages, X FacTOIR

Meet the staff from KES!  This is a video they put together for Year 8 yesterday afternoon.

Every year the Languages department get the pupils to learn a song in German or Spanish, they then perform that song to each other X-Factor style in front of a panel of judges one of which is me.

This year however the teachers themselves got in on the action, and they where all lost for words.  Check out their Lip Sync video below.

This was an unexpected surprise and a really nice way for all of the students to end the school day.  What good sports all of the teaching staff are!

The King's Lynn Whale

28th June 2018

This morning at about 7:45 we took a call from the Pilot of the West Lynn Ferry to say a Whale had just swum beneath him and his passengers.

Keep an eye on our news pages for the latest on the Whales progress as authorities do their best to guide him to freedom.  Fingers crossed!

Breakfast with the Dog

27th June 2018

Igave myself an extended weekend just gone, after enjoying Lionel at Holkham I knew that I might have Monday blues and decided to take the day off a few months ago.  Who knew the weather was going to be so amazing?

What a day to bask in the beautiful sunshine on our anazing Norfolk coastline.  I love presenting Breakfast with Si on the radio but the real thing after a long stroll with the dog was something else.

Stolen birds

14th June 2018

This is 84 year old Brian Smith who until earlier this week was living a happy life in old Hunstanton. Brian Smith

That is until someone with nothing better to do broke in to his Avery in the back garden and either stole or set free everyone of his precious birds.  Brian is very upset and I decided that someone needed to help him,  I made a quick call to my friends at Vets 4 Pets  in King's Lynn who set the ball rolling...

Hear the outcome below

Purfleet Trust

1st June 2018

The Trust was set up in 1993 to help homeless people in King’s Lynn and West Norfolk.

But pressure on the charity has increased a lot over the years as it continues to provide accommodation, support and hot food for those in need in our county.

They faced a real surged in demand over winter especially during the Beast from the East but the problem is here all year round and they need help to keep their support going throughout.

Purfleet Trust
The team at Purfleet Trust do amazing work in our community

The Trust relies on their donors and volunteers to continue their work in our community and during June they’re in need of food, clothes and anything else people can spare.

Find out more on their website and you can donate here.
