Ingoldisthorpe and more doughnuts
17th August 2012
I spent the day in Ingoldisthorpe today.
The sun was shining and the brand new village sign looked great on the green. The money for the sign was raised by the Women's Institute to celebrate the Queens Jubilee.
Just opposite the sign, the footy pitch was looking good ahead of tomorrow’s (Saturday) match. Good Luck Ingoldisthorpe FC! - It's their first match on actual home turf in two years, previously hosting home games in nearby Snettisham, Old Hunstanton and West Lynn.
There's a fun day at 1pm with a bouncy castle, stalls and face painting at the field to celebrate.
I also met lots of locals including the Roye Sisters who invited me to sit with them during their picnic, they didn’t ask me to play rounders!
Tomorrow I'll be at the Walks watching King's Lynn Town FC in their 1st match of the season, if you are there too, please come and say Hi. If you aren't going you can keep up-to-date-with my tweets via @simonrowe on Twitter.
Have a great weekend!
