Linnets thrash Thrapston
3rd March 2012
Another 3 points for the Linnets today after a 5-1 win over Thrapston in front of around 600 at the Walks.
Lot's of goals and plenty of incident during the 90 minutes, notably just before half-time when Lynn scored a dubious goal from a drop kick which caught the visitors keeper off guard and on the edge of his box. Luke Thurlbourne's kick lobbed the goalie and ended up in the back of the net.
The frustration of the visitors was still bubbling over on the Half Time whistle as the players came together down the tunnel.
But what did Linnet's gaffer Gary Setchell make of the incidnet and his teams performance?
