Riverview Contracts specialise in kitchen installations to the new build market. Established in 2004, and installing on average six hundred kitchens per year. Due to continued expansion, we are looking to expand the team with the addition of a Contracts Manager. The successful candidate will have the ability to work closely with and develop long-standing relations with new and existing clients.

You must have a sound knowledge of Excel and the kitchen and bathroom industry. Experience with Fusion CAD Design and EQ software would be advantageous. Working with our senior management team, the contracts manager will assist the contracts director with the continued expansion, service and growth of the company.

The role is full time and salary will be commensurate with experience, skill level and qualifications.

KEY DIMENSIONS:The jobholder plays a key role in the management and performance of Riverview Contracts Limited.

The jobholder plays a key part in the profitability of the Company by being pro-active and increasing performance and profitability in all areas of the business particularly increasing volume of contract work with new builders.

The jobholder will have an extensive knowledge of the industry and associated products as the role includes the management of the sub-contractors and liaison with all staff.

NATURE & SCOPE:The job exists to provide day-to-day management of Riverview Contracts Limited. This includes new business initiatives, increasing the number of clients, presentations to all clients, management and monitoring performance of sub-contractors, sales performance, profitability of the business, customer service levels, handling complaints and reducing all errors. Sale performance includes sales from the range of products and services provided by Quay Centre Ltd and Riverview Contracts Ltd.

The job holder is to assist in the management Riverview Contracts Limited,

demonstrated by the following:

  • Day-to-day operations of Riverview Contracts Ltd.
  • Maximising sales potential to increase the financial performance of the Company
  • Providing a high level of personal service to all clients, customers and suppliers
  • Discussing and advising customers on the products and services provided by the Company to suits their needs
  • Liaising with sub-contractors on a weekly basis giving details of installations to be carried out
  • Visiting sites weekly to check on progress and managing any problems that may arise on site
  • Authorising payments to sub-contractors after signing off all work sheets and checking that invoices presented are accurate and correct.
  • Regular site meetings with site agents and sales staff (to include double measures and checking off all plans and designs for accuracy and practicable)
  • Preparing and pricing quotations to the appropriate specifications required to include CAD Designs.
  • Presentations to prospective clients
  • Ordering of goods and products to specification as required
  • Managing stock levels for appliances, etc. that are held as stock items for Riverview Contracts Ltd.
  • Good administration skills to ensure all documents, plans, correspondence, etc. to customers, suppliers and all third parties are always readily available
  • Providing customers with an after sales service
  • Establishing and maintaining a good relationship with suppliers ensuring that the service provided is of the highest level and to minimise costs wherever possible
  • Establishing and maintaining a good relationship with third parties that use the Company’s services
  • Promote the Company and seek new business development and opportunities to increase customers and sales
  • Providing Senior Management with regular information as and when required
  • Monitoring sales and performance figures
  • Ensuring all work carried out by sub-contractors is of a high and orders sent to customers and suppliers
