** COVID-19 FACE SHIELD HELP NEEDED **

*** PLEASE SHARE ***

You don't have to look far to see the NHS needs all of the help it can get at the moment. Many of our doctors and nurses are working without the correct PPE and putting themselves and families at unnecessary risk.

With our business now closed for the foreseeable future and having the facilities to produce face shields via 3d printing we have decided to spend our time trying to chip in and manufacturer face shields to donate to our local hospital.

We are in talks with the COVID team at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital W.Norfolk and are waiting for confirmation they are able to take these shields. Once accepted we plan to keep the machines running until this madness has blown over and we are back working on two wheels again. Once we have ironed out the creases we will approach other institutions towards London to help out in any way we can.

So this is where we need your help.

. Do you have a 3d printer capable of printing 1.75mm PETG? Know anyone that does? Please Please get in touch and we will send you the details and .stl to get printing. The more printers we have on board the quicker we can get the volume out to where it's needed most.

. Do you have any knowledge on 3d modelling and more specifically fusion360? We need your input to help modify our design to make it quick, safe and efficient to print.

. Don't have a printer but still want to help? Any donations however small would be greatly appreciated and welcome. It'll help buy the raw materials needed to carry on printing and although we are so far completely self funded we are going to need help to carry on. As a side note, if you do donate we will discount your next motorcycle service when all this has blown over.

Our newly setup paypal address is: ppehelp@domotorbikes.co.uk

We will of course be completely transparent with donations and every penny will be accounted for.

Please help where you can - Attach your name (facebook name) to any donations and we will invite you into our private group where we can all work together to share ideas/progress.

The NHS does so much for us. Lets all work together to give as much as we can back.

Stay safe,

Damon
