Gamers in Norfolk will have the chance to buy classic or rare computer games and consoles when the UK’s biggest gaming market makes its debut in Norwich on Saturday 18 May.

The Norwich Gaming Market will bring together stalls of traders from across the UK who specialise in finding and selling classic and limited-edition video games and equipment.

Andy Brown from organisers Replay Events explained: “We have arranged for specialist traders to fill Norwich’s St Andrew’s Hall with thousands of retro computer games and consoles, plus gaming merchandise and custom-made artwork. For those who love gaming, it is the perfect chance to enjoy some gaming history. The market stalls will feature some of the biggest collections of retro games including rare and limited editions as well as enabling people to rediscover some much-loved classics.”

Replay Events has previously organised some of the biggest gaming markets around the UK including in London, Manchester and Bristol. These have attracted up to 3,000 people each day.

The confirmed traders for the first-ever Norwich event include Blackpool-based Console Passion, York-based Sore Thumb Retro Games and online specialists Gold Saucer Games.
People keen to explore the stalls first can purchase early entry tickets for 11am, an hour before the doors open to the general public at 12pm. These are limited to 500 people and priced at £4 (plus booking fee).

The Norwich Gaming Market takes place on Saturday 18 May at St Andrew’s Hall in Norwich. Tickets are available via www.norwichgamingmarket.com. Entry on the door from 12pm is £2 for adults and free for children under 16, if accompanied by an adult.
