A free festival of Arts, Music and Heritage in King's Lynn on the night of October 11th from 6pm-11pm.
Around the town and in our heritage and town venues we have many local artists and performers coming in to showcase their talents and help promote the Heritage of King's Lynn. We want to bring the town to life at night through the creative community.
We have Live music..rock, pop, choral, instrumental and experimental.
There will be Installations and live art, animation, moving image and film, sculpture, sound and light, poetry, performance and workshops.
The king's Lynn Steampunk community will be here to show and tell about their arts, crafts and costumes, family games and bring entertainment to the town.
The Molly Misfits Molly dancers, Rock choir and Guildhall Singers will be roving the town to perform and the Town Guides will be there to walk and talk about the history of Lynn and its people.
Groundworks gallery will be hosting art, installations and music.
Ferry Lane Social club and the White Hart at Saturday market place will be hosting our rock, pop and acoustic groups.
Stories of Lynn and Hanse House will be hosting workshops.
Then weave your way through the high street past Ring Associates, Boots The Chemist and Nice and Tasty Patisserie for the shop front installations of art and moving image...
to our heritage venues..Kings Lynn Minster, Town Hall and Stories of Lynn, Hanse House, Bankhouse and Cellar, Customs House and St Georges Guildhall for a night of performance. Then to St Nicholas Chapel where a host of musicians and performers will fill the space with live music, sound and light... Culminating in the chapel with the grand musicircus at the end of the night.
Many local cafes and restaurants will be supporting the event including Lulus Fish and chip shop with a special festival menu, Madeleine moments tea room on St James street and Nice and Tasty patisserie where there will also be artwork and a local vocal ensemble performing.
