Getting ready for GDPR in West Norfolk

Uptech IT Solutions

Published at 6:00am 24th January 2018.

Trying to make sure West Norfolk businesses are ready for this big change.

That's the message coming from King's Lynn company Uptech.

They're looking to hold seminars in our county to help them prepare for GDPR and make sure they're compliant with the new changes.

You've got until May to make sure you're not in breach of the new regulations.

Guy Pyle from Uptech said:

"We at Uptech feel GDPR is one of the largest changes in how companies can legally gather, manage and use data in there business since the data protection act came into force many years ago alarmingly we have seen a significant amount of misinformation being given out to businesses.

"We are therefore going to be holding a series of seminars where any business that registers via our website can attend and gain the right answers to any questions they might have about GDPR and the challenges gaining compliance brings.

"With May approaching fast please register asap and or take the free online GDPR questionnaire to see where your business sits right now."
