Why Norfolk businesses are asking us to 'Drink to Remember'.

The owners of Control Tower B&B in Egmere have launched the campaign to help fund a memorial at the former RAF North Creake.

They want to raise £30,000 to pay for a tribute fitting for those who were lost at RAF North Creake whilst serving with Bomber Command in the Second World War.

Owner Nigel Morter:

"As a result of the secret nature of the operations undertaken from this airfield, the story of North Creake has mostly been lost, having made such a critical contribution, we feel it is time it was remembered."

It will be in pubs from across Norfolk in February.

  • Binham Chequers
  • Black Lion - Little Walsingham
  • The Carpenters Arms - Wighton
  • The Lifeboat Inn - Wells-next-the-Sea
  • The Three Horseshoes - Warham

Or you can get it from The Real Ale Shop from April online
