Bad weather is one the way.

It's due to hit in the early hours of Monday morning, with strong winds and heavy rain. We are due gusts of up to 40 - 50mph and that is expected to damage buildings, trees, and powerlines. Police have warned people to drive carefully, especially in rural areas.

If there is a tree on the road and it is dangerous, (eg someone could crash into it) call police on 101. They will get the right people there. DO NOT call the police if a tree has fallen on private land, or anywhere else.

Please be aware that the emergency services will be stretched thin tonight (and they probably worked a 13 hour shift last night too) so think before you call them.

Greater Anglia, East Mids, and First Capital Connect will have no trains running before 9am tomorrow. Bus services may also be affected so check before you set off.

Russel's Circus has canceled the 6pm show tonight , both shows Monday and the 5pm Tuesday. Anyone with tickets can re book via the ticket office ( 07752 218805)

Check on elderly neighbours, and be safe. KLFM will keep you up to date from 6am tomorrow.
