RAF Marham Charity World Record Attempt Foiled

A world record was broken at RAF Marham yesterday - only for organisers to find out they'd just been beaten by a school in China!

327 people simultaneously did a fitness test - but unknown to them - 500 children on the other side of the world had just completed their own attempt.

It was well worth doing though as hundreds of pounds was raised for the RAF Benevolent Fund.

Harvey Smith is the Station Commander at RAF Marham and says they all had fun, and raised money for a very good cause.

“We’ve got 3 operations going on around the world at the moment, and lots and lots of people deployed. As a Station Commander I see a lot of the good that the Benevolent Fund does first hand, so it’s nice to be able to give a little bit back.”
