Sight Test Plea for West Norfolk's Children

Kids in West Norfolk and Wisbech could be risking headaches and lower marks at school because they haven't had their eyes tested.
An optician in Wisbech is reminding parents to get them checked before the new school term gets into full swing...
Helen is an Optical Consultant at Boots in the town and says it can make a huge difference to a child's learning...
“At home you probably won’t notice as much, but when they get to school, it’s a different environment, they’re sitting further away from the blackboard and that’s when problems can start.”
She’s appealing for parents not to leave it and make sure young children are brought in at least once a year.
“Parents don’t have to pay for a sight test for their children, and it’s really important to come and get it done as early as possible really.”
