Horse Trapped Near Old Downham Cinema

Fire crews rescued a horse that became trapped in a manhole on land next to the old Downham Market Cinema this morning.

They were called at around 4am.

It caused problems on London Road this morning.

Earlier, reports suggested that the horse was inside the cinema, but the owners have told us this was not the case.
