King's Lynn Hospital Named in Parliament

The Labour Leader Ed Miliband has used the Queen Elizabeth hospital in King's Lynn as an example of the NHS at breaking point.
Speaking in Parliament at Prime Minister's questions, Mr Miliband said recent requests by the hospital for people to stay away unless it's a genuine emergency was evidence that the system is overstretched:
“Across England A&Es including Scunthorpe, Middlesbrough, and King’s Lynn have been telling people not to turn up; and we’ve report and report about patients waiting hours for ambulances.”
The Prime Minister, David Cameron responded:
“What the figures show is that yes, the NHS is under pressure, and the figures are these: Last week 429 thousand people presented at A&E units across England. That is 3 thousand more patients every day than under the last government.”
