If you live in Dereham or Swaffham and you're thinking of setting up a voluntary group or sports project, then there's good news...

Ten thousand pounds for projects which get people active in Swaffham or in Dereham is being made available by Breckland District Council...

Its part of a fifty thousand pound Pride in Breckland pot...

Five market towns and surrounding villages are getting ten thousand pounds each...

Any groups who get more people active are eligble for the funding - the council are stressing though that not just sports projects will be considered - so will groups who get people more involved in their communities.
