Wisbech Man Airlifted After Crushing Incident

A Wisbech man is seriously injured in hospital this morning after an industrial accident.

Paramedics were called to Boleness Road just before 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon.

It's thought a steel plate had fallen onto the man, who is in his 20's, from a fork lift truck, leaving him with a major pelvic fracture.

He was flown to Addenbrookes down in Cambridge by Air Ambulance.
