Your Local Paper celebrates fourth birthday
9:13am 17th March 2017
A West Norfolk newspaper celebrates it's fourth birthday today.
On this day back in 2013 Your Local Paper hit the streets as a free-sheet and now prints 24 thousand copies each and every Friday.
Director Alan Taylor says;
"We based the model on the success of newspapers like the Evening Standard. Free newspapers are now the way forward, they've overtaken paid for newspapers. If you look at the standard, if you go back four or five years, they were selling 200,000 papers, they're now giving away over a million.
I think that is the future of newspapers."
