Burglars raided a house in King's Lynn, and stole a BMW whilst the owners slept.

It happened overnight between Tuesday and Wednesday.

The car keys were stolen to take the silver BMW 118, with a bag and purse also snatched.

We spoke to the owner;

"I just became angry and then very upset, and then obviously frightened. Someone's been in our house, and even more scarily when we were in bed. It just makes you feel really unsafe in your own home which is horrible, especially as we only bought this place and moved in three months ago.

It's a really horrible feeling knowing that someone has been in your house, it just makes you feel really unsafe. I feel really unsettled, it's quite sad especially as we've just bought the house and I was so in love with it and now I feel a bit worried, and unhappy being here."

The car's registration number is OV09 FOJ.

Anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area – or anyone who may know of the whereabouts of the vehicle – should contact DC Nichola Lane at Kings Lynn CID on 101.
