Man charged for drug offences in Snettisham

A 42-year-old man has been charged with a series of offences after police carried out a drugs raid in Snettisham earlier this week.

Officers searched a property on Beach Road on Tuesday.

A quantity of Class A drugs, believed to be heroin and crack cocaine, was seized along with cash.

A man and woman were arrested in connection with the incident and taken to King’s Lynn Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

James Davis, of Beach Road, Snettisham, has been charged with the following offences;

  • Possession of a pepper spray
  • Possession of a Taser
  • Possession with intent to supply a Class A drug (diamorphine)
  • Possession with intent to supply a Class A drug (cocaine)
  • Possession of a Class B drug (cannabis)
  • Possession of a Class B drug (cannabis resin)
  • Possession of a Class A drug (Subutex)
  • Possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply (methadone)
  • Possession of criminal property (cash, vehicles, electronics)

Davis was remanded in custody and appeared at Norwich Magistrates Court yesterday (13 July) and was released on bail to appear before Norwich Crown Court on Thursday 10 August.

A woman aged in her 30s arrested in connection with the incident was questioned and released under investigation while enquiries continue.
