A surprising sight has been spotted at the Sea Life Sanctuary in Hunstanton this afternoon that wasn't a fish!

Stephen Hawking made an unexpected appearance at the centre, much to the excitement to staff and visitors alike.

In 1963, Hawking contracted motor neurone disease and was given two years to live.

Yet he went on to Cambridge to become a researcher and Professorial Fellow at Gonville and Caius College.

Staff at the centre said they weren't expecting the 75-year-old scientist.
