Norfolk man ordered to pay back over £40,000

A Norfolk man, aged 56, who was jailed for running a cannabis factory has been ordered to pay over £40,000. 

Ian Brown, from Gunn Street in Foulsham, is serving a four year sentence after cannabis plants were found at a property in December 2014. 

After an ongoing investigation it was later found that he had been bypassing the electricity supply to the property. 

Brown has been ordered to pay British Gas in compensation within 3 months or he faces an extra nine months in prison.
