Teen girl seriously injured after King's Lynn hit-and-run

A teenage girl suffered suspect broken leg after a moped rider ran her down in King's Lynn.

Police say he deliberately drove at the victim as she crossed King John Avenue in Gaywood.

The moped rider then sped off from the scene.

Paramedics were called out at around 1pm today (13th Nov) and gave her medical attention.

She was then taken to the QEH for more care.

Her injuries aren't thought to be life-threatening.

A man later handed himself into King's Lynn Police Station over the incident.
