Urgent appeal after fatal crash near A47

This man would be key in finding out what happened during this fatal crash near Wisbech.

Jade Green and Kayleigh Harrison from the town both died after the collision.

A man in his 20s is still in a critical but stable condition in Addenbrooke Hospital.

Cambridgeshire Police are telling us they think another man was in the car with Jade, Kayleigh and the other victim.

They believe he left the Vauxhall Astra after it collided with a Ford Transit at 7:10am last Thursday (9th Nov).

He's being treated as a witness and may know how this tragic event came about.

Detective Inspector Alan Page said:

"I'd appeal directly to the man who left the scene to contact us as a matter of urgency. I would like to stress that he is being treated as a witness and we believe he may have vital information to help us piece together a picture of what happened last week.

"This was a tragic incident where two woman lost their lives and a man remains in a critical condition. In addition to the man seen leaving the scene we would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the vehicles prior to the collision."

He is described as white, in his 20s, with dark curly hair and a beard.

29-year-old Kayleigh leaves behind three young children and her family said:

"Kayleigh was unique, lived life to the full and had lots of friends."

While 24-year-old Jade's family said:

"Jade was a much loved sister and daughter. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her."
