"There's one that sticks with me...

"It was on Christmas night in 2006 and we attended a head-on-collision.

"There were three teenagers killed that night."

You can't even begin to image how horrific this must have been for their families.

Critical Care Paramedic Carl Smith from East England Ambulance Service is joining our campaign to raise awareness about the dangers of getting behind the wheel when you're over the limit.

He's sharing stories like that one to make sure no one else loses a loved one in a car crash.

It's such an important issue over the Christmas holidays and sadly Carl sees a rise in it during this time.

He also volunteers at Norfolk Accident Rescue Service to try and save more lives.
