It may be beautiful but would you want to spend all day in the intense heat and sun in West Norfolk?

That's why the Purfleet Trust is asking us to remember that this can be really tough for the homeless here.

In King's Lynn - the charity knows we have 42 people out on our streets.

The high temperatures often leaves them dehydrated and they can suffer nasty sun burns.

It can also lead to health complications as many struggle to find shade and a cool place to rest.

Lucy from the charity has been telling KLFM about the issues they've been dealing with recently.

She said:

"It's one of those things that carry on throughout the year.

"It's not just in winter - it's still an ongoing issue and we have so many people out on the streets.

"You look down the high street and you see a fair few people there but not all the homeless will be out begging.

"Some are hidden away and don't want to be found and then you have more who are sofa surfing."
