Man threatens Norfolk teen girl during armed robbery

A teenage girl was threatened by an armed man during this burglary in Thetford.

She was confronted by the attacker last Thursday (10th May) in Winchester Way at around 1:30pm.

The suspect then came into the address and attacked a man in his 20s with a hammer.

The man was also threatened with a knife during the incident as well.

Then the victim jumped out of a first floor window to get away from the away from the suspect and ended up breaking his leg.

The girl managed to flee the scene without being hurt.

Two iPhones, two mountain bikes and two games consoles were stolen during the incident.

DC Matt Hendry from Thetford CID said:

"Based on the investigation so far, we believe that this could have been a targeted incident as opposed to a random attack.

"I would urge local residents who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area around the time to contact us.”
