Without them - her little boy wouldn't be here.

Chase will be 2-years-old on Sunday and now his mum Roxanne Douglas wants to give something back to the QEH.

The team at the neonatal unit worked tirelessly to save the little one after his heart beat dropped.

He was born weighing just 3lb and 12oz.

Staff from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital then came out to their house everyday for two weeks while Roxanne and her family cared for Chase at home.

It's still very emotional for her and her eldest son and the pair have set up a fundraising bike ride to give something back.

Roxanne told us:

"I was told that if Chase's heart rate dipped and didn't come back in 30 seconds they would hit the red bell and it would be an emergency.

"But he was born within three minutes of them pressing that red bell.

"He looked like a little bird - he was literally skin and bone, just tiny.

"His head was no bigger than my husband's finger and he could literally fit into the palm of your hand."

Make sure more families have this support by going to Roxanne's fundraising page.
