Pedestrian killed on A141 named by police

The man who was killed in a crash on the A141 has been named by police.

32 year old Robert Akers was crossing the road when he was hit by a car, he sadly died at the scene.

Police were called to the collision between a car and a pedestrian in Chatteris at about 11am on Saturday (7th July).

Officers are appealing for any information from anyone who saw the collision.
