"We can't thank them enough - they've made Jackson's life so much more bearable."

But that's not what this Sedgeford mum first though we she was told about Hunstanton Roundtable.

Rebecca Alexander was at breaking point and in tears as she tried to care for her Jaxson.

jackson's wish
jaxson needed an area where he could calm down

The 6-year-old has severe autism, is non-verbal and has the mental age of a one year old.

That sadly means when he has fits he can really hurt himself and those around him.

So his parents were trying to build him a special sensory space in their shed.

It was going to be a safe place where Jaxson could rest and it would provide some relief to his parents too.

But costs kept going up and up to the point where it didn't look it was going to happen.

That's when Rebecca was told about Hunstanton Roundtable and she said "Who the firework guys?".

But she quickly found out they do so much more than that.

After hearing her story they not only helped with the shed but have also provided specialist equipment to help keep Jaxson calm.

Hear just how much it meant to Rebecca here:

Hunstanton Roundtable use events like the Bonfire Night to raise money to support families like Rebecca's.

She hopes by sharing her story more people realise the good work they do here and change views on mental health.
