A flood alert has been issued along the North Norfolk Coast this evening.

The Environment Agency says minor flooding is possible from Old Hunstanton, to and including Cley.

Tides are expected to be higher than usual.

There will still be strong winds affecting this evening's tide, generating large waves.

The alert is in place between 7pm and 8pm tonight.

We're advised to stay away from high risk areas and take care next to the coast.
