Lynn Man charged with knifepoint robberies

A man has been charged with two knifepoint robberies in West Norfolk.

A woman was threatened at JD Sports in King's Lynn before a car was stolen in Downham Market yesterday (10th Jan).

Daniel York has now been charged in connection to those offences.

The 20-year-old from London Road in King's Lynn was arrested yesterday after those incidents.

The first happened at around 9:55am where a female member of staff at JD Sports was threatened by a man who stole trainers, gloves and clothing. 

Then a car was stolen at knifepoint in Downham Market on Lynn Road at 10:30am.

 

 

York has been charged with two counts of robbery, one count of possession of a bladed article, one count of driving whilst disqualified and using a motor vehicle without insurance.

He's been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court tomorrow morning (12th Jan).
