Pensioner's body found in Wells Harbour

A pensioner's body has been recovered from Wells Harbour.

The man in his 70s went this missing this morning (12th Sat).

Norfolk Police and Hunstanton Coastguard joined other emergency services after receiving concerned calls about the man.


Searches were carried out around the harbour before officers confirmed the update later this afternoon.

They are treating the death as unexplained and not suspicious.

His family and next of kin have been informed.

Hunstanton Coastguard said:

"Thoughts are with the casualties family and friends."
