You can hear why your support means so much to this Swaffham family.

Two-year-old Esme Lambert was diagnosed with brain cancer at the end of October last year.

It meant her dad had to give up work to look after his little girl and his other children.

To help them cover the costs of things like travel and accommodation - the community rallied around the family.

Aaron and mum Wendy came to KLFM as the fundraising reached over £15,000.

They've been so moved by the support that people they've never met have given them.

Wendy spoke to us about what they've been through, how the treatment is going and how much this support has meant to them.

Aaron said:

"Esme is inspiring - It picks you up about the whole situation with how Esme is with it.

"Everyday she has a good day is a victory and someday's you forget what is going.

"Apart from the fact she's lost her hair - the rest of the time she is fine in herself.

"Obviously there's ups and downs and her blood platelets are down so she bruises easy.

"The support from the community is what gets you through.

"People aren't only helping Esme - they're helping all my children."

Local business Stanley's is putting on a Fun Day for Esme on 2nd March.
