Kings lynn festival

Published by Chris Craddock at 5:40am 20th February 2019.

King's Lynn Festival 2019 acts are set to be announced at 12pm today (Wednesday 20th February).

Last year saw us have the biggest and best year yet.

Acts like the Hallé Orchestra and Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, the BBC Big Band, guitarist Craig Ogden who teamed up with jazz singer Jacqui Dankworth and impersonator Alistair McGowan who attended as a pianist performed.

In 2018, the festival ran from the 15th-28th July bringing people from all over the country to West Norfolk.

Chair of the event, Alison Croose told KLFM last year was a huge success:

"We think about 1 in 4 or 5 ticket buyers are from outside the East Anglian region.

One of our goals, as well as providing great things for people who live in West Norfolk, is to increase tourism in West Norfolk, which is so important."

This year's festival scheduled to run from the 14th-27th July.

Check back later to see who they've announced to take part!
