Published by Grace Mcgachy at 6:14am 15th March 2019.

This may disrupt your weekend slightly in King's Lynn.

Tennyson Avenue will be shut between 6am tomorrow and 6am on Monday and next weekend (Sat 23rd to Mon 25th March).

It's to carry out major resurfacing works near the railway crossing.

The site will extend 200 metres either side of the Tennyson Avenue railway crossing, from the junction with Mount Street to King George V Avenue.

Fully signed official local diversion routes via Vancouver Avenue, London Road, Railway Road and Gaywood Road will be in place on each weekend during the surfacing works.

The work which will cost £90,000 will be carried out by Norfolk County Council's Community & Environmental Services Department and their contractors.
