Car torched in A47 arson attack

Cambridgeshire fire and rescue tackling a fire in march

A car was torched on the A47 near Wisbech during an arson attack.

Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue were called to the scene at around 8:35pm last night (14th March).

Firefighters used a hose reel jet to put out the flames.

 

They then returned to the station by 9:15pm.

Emergency services confirmed the cause of the fire was deliberate.

They're now appealing for witnesses to call 101 or report the incident to Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
