Sir David is feeling a bit salty in West Norfolk and it's all because of you.

Don't worry - no one has upset the legendary broadcaster here.

We're talking about the injured seal named after the natural historian at East Winch Wildlife Centre.

The Frisbee that was found around Sir David's neck

He was left with a deep wound to his neck after he became trapped in a Frisbee.

But some generous souls have donated bags of salt which are used in his baths to help him heal up.

And you can tell Sir David loves a good soak!

Centre Manager Alison told our reporter Grace McGachy that injuries caused by litter are incredibly painful and often difficult to treat.

She went on to say she finds it frustrating because it is actually preventable:

"They can end up losing limbs, they can have horrific wounds and can end up dying from it as a result, it's just horrendous what we're seeing at the minute.

"It's absolutely infuriating if I'm honest it drives me quite cross, and I don't get cross very often but it drives me spare that this is just because of people not taking their rubbish home.

"You just think please take it home, don't leave it on the beach."
