Fraudsters target credit card users in Norfolk

People in Norfolk are being targeting by this scam pretending to be from Mastercard.

The call says a lot of your money has gone into a foreign account.

You're then told to contact their 'fraud team' but Norfolk Police say we should hang up instead.

There are a few variations on these calls from the amount they mention to the reason they're calling.

But you should always be wary of claims made in cold calls according to officers.

If you are worried about the security of your credit card - you should contact your card provider directly using the Customer Service number printed on the card - never use details provided in a cold call.
